I am currently a public relations intern for the Meridian Group. The Meridian group is a advertising, public relations and digital marketing agency with over thirty years of experience in guiding both small and large companies and organizations. The agency works with various of areas of business such as destinations, healthcare, nonprofits, education, real estate, food and beverage, as well as, consumer and goods. Some of their well known clients they work with is The Main, STIHL, Hypertherm, Chrysler Museum & Art, Sundial Beach Resort & Spa, and etc... I started my internship with them on August 30th, 2021 and I was able to help out with some of their projects!
So far, I was able to get involved and work with Kerry Takach. Kerry Takach is the digital marketing coordinator for the Meridian Group. Kerry asked me for some help making a planning a wedding blog for one of our clients, the Sundial Resort & Spa. Kerry gave me the information and pictures of the couple, Tim and Denali at the Sundial Resort in Sanibel, Florida. The majority of the blog is a question and answer portion in the view of the couple. My job to complete the blog is to create an introduction and conclusion to the blog. I was also responsible to choosing the pictures that would go with the blog and see fit.
The blog was due by the end of the day that it was assigned. The introduction is an opening to the couple and how Sundial Resorts help plan their wedding. The pictures was provided by Twisted of Fate Imagery. I was able to pick and choose the header and pictures that would seem good with the descriptions in the blog. Then I made the closing statement, which would lead to the audience plan their own wedding with Sundial Resort. Kerry was able to proofread my work and then later was published the next day. The client was overall pleased with the blog.
