COMM 302: Part 1- Mobile Optimization

For my curation, I decided to choose the mobile optimization option. I went onto my mobile device and changed four major changes to my ePortfolio visually to make my profile easier to access, easier to read, and see clearly.

The first image on the left, I changed the color fonts of the quote, "Time waits for no one (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻" to a light tan that matches my cover, before it was black and it blended the background of the dark blue. I made it into a lighter color to contrast the dark blue, so the viewers of my profile can see what the quote says. The quote comes from one of my favorite movies and is an inspirational statement to me, which is why I wanted to have it in my profile.

The next image is that I changed the text sizes in each of my tabs to seventeen to create uniformity. In the paragraphs in each tab, I wanted to make sure that my peers, professors, and future employers are able to read clearly on my ePortfolio on their mobile device.

The third image is from my "Contact Me" tab. Before, I had my pages aligned on the left, but this time, I aligned the words, images, and boxes aligned in the middle to create that column vertical stance. This would help please the eye when looking on a mobile phone and helps reading the words easier.

The fourth image is a screenshot of my "Course Projects". What I changed on here is that I aligned the document link and the words to the center to make it pleasing to the eye when scrolling on a vertical phone and creates the aesthetic to be able to click on the word document icon.

By making these changes to my mobile ePortfolio, I strongly feel that I made my profile stronger and professional to read, while expressing myself through my images, words, and emoticons.
